Registered Nursing Faculty

Great Falls College MSU is seeking a Registered Nursing faculty to perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities for the Department of Health Sciences and the Registered Nursing degree program in accordance with the philosophy, mission, policies, and procedures of the College and the Department of Nursing. The successful candidate for this position has the opportunity to be the first to teach in Great Falls College MSU's newly established RN Program!
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Teach courses and laboratory courses relevant to the Registered Nurse Program;
o Develop/update syllabi and teaching materials relevant to the Registered Nurse Program;
o Supervise and instruct students in clinical; and
o Evaluation of students in the Registered Nursing Program.

Required
Qualifications:
o Master's degree in Nursing
o Unencumbered Registered Nurse license
o Have preparation for teaching in their respective area of responsibility including at least two years of experience in RN practice
o Ability to teach in both classroom and clinical settings
o Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
o Have two years of experience in RN practice, within past five years
o Teaching experience at post-secondary level
o Experience in medical-surgical, and acute care nursing practice
o A willingness to participate actively in College activities beyond one's discipline
This position is open until filled and will begin as soon as possible upon hire. Program intake starts Fall 2015 for a Spring 2016 class start.

Salary Range: $37,899 - 45,006 annually. Commensurate with education, experience, and placement on the GFCMSU Salary Structure. Also eligible for a recruitment stipend of up to $8,000.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
