This position is responsible for configuring, installing, monitoring and maintaining IT users desktop software and hardware; supports mobile workforce. Provides consultation to IT users for all aspects of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN systems software. Provides technical support and guidance through Tier 2 support and works with vendors to resolve Tier 3 issues. Responsible for documenting solutions to problems and developing end-user guidelines. May provide on-site training to users. Evaluates, maintains, modifies (e.g., creates macros, templates) and documents desktop application packages, participates in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implements prototypes. Consults with and makes recommendations to IT users on selection of hardware and software products to address business requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
1 year of IT work experience in supporting desktop software and hardware products and problems solving/troubleshooting.
Requires knowledge and experience in own functionstill acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills.
Builds own knowledge of HCSC, business processes and customers.
Solves a range of problems.
Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
