We are a family owned and operated Agriculture and Construction dealer who has been in business for over 100 years, delivering the whole package to our customers; sales, parts, service, Agronomy and Precision Guidance.
We are in need of a Technology Specialist.
This corporate position guides our precision guidance departments.
The successful applicant will help develop and maintain plans to keep the Torgerson's brand at the top of the agricultural and construction technology markets, will have a passion for technology and experience in industry and has a strong work ethic.
RESPONSIBILITIES ? Development and execution of technical training programs as assigned.
? Writes training programs, including outline, text, handouts and tests, and designs laboratory exercises.
? Use training techniques that enhance and train staff.
? Attend clinics and training as directed by corporate management.
? Thorough knowledge of computer software programs; i.

; Word, Excel, Google, etc.
? Follow all company standards based on the employee, drug & alcohol and safety handbooks.
? Be proficient in communication and organizational skills, which are paramount to the success of the operation.
? Other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
? Assisting in training, supervision, discipline, and hiring of staff.
? Communication - build and maintain strong interdepartmental and complex wide relationships at all levels within Torgerson's that builds our teams, our processes and our company.
? Build and support service technicians through mentoring, teaching and supporting.
? Attend training seminars, classes and conferences that further develop the individual in regard to his/her area of specialty.
? Attend clinics and training as directed by corporate management.

? Create a safety-minded atmosphere, free of drug and alcohol abuse within the corporate structure.
? Performs moderate walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Works outside and inside, around moving objects, and with vehicles and machinery with moving parts.
Frequent exposure to dampness and humidity, toxic chemicals, exhaust fumes, gasoline and diesel fuel.
? May work irregular hours on occasion and respond to after-hours calls as needed.
? Foster relationships with staff and customers, both internally and externally.
? Be proficient in communication and organizational skills, which are paramount to the success of the operation.
